The service, which costs $169 for the season, includes live out-of-market game broadcasts, full-length and condensed replays and 500+ classic games in the NHL Vault.
The 2010-2011 season also marked the first time the service was available on Apple, Android, Blackberry and Nokia mobile devices, and the accompanying NHL GameCenter app was downloaded over 2 million times. This past season NeuLion helped deliver GameCenter LIVE to PS3, Roku and Boxee allowing viewership on the big screen.
All sports leagues and rights-holder continue to benefit from online and mobile video's ability to deliver unprecedented access and convenience. Sports are also among the leaders in pursuing hybrid pay/ad-supported models.
