Amazon has inked a deal with Starz Digital Media for streaming rights to Starz’ Roman-era action series Spartacus for Germany.
The agreement, announced Tuesday, gives Amazon German streaming rights for the all three seasons of Spartacus, as well as the six-part prequel series, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. The series’ third and final season, Spartacus: War of the Damned, will debut in early 2015.

Amazon will make the episodes available to its Amazon Prime and Amazon Prime Instant Video customers in Germany.
Amazon launched its video-on-demand service in Germany earlier this year and has been beefing up its content catalog for the territory in anticipation of the German launch of Netflix later this year.
