Revision3 Series Lets Viewers in on ‘Scam’

Apr 7, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Web video studio Revision3 has launched new series “Scam School,” in which magician Brian Brushwood shows how to perform small tricks that will, according to the company, “entertain friends and strangers, and score you free drinks at the bar.”
As part of the show’s debut, Revision3 will release a new episode of the series every day this week. Starting next week, a new episode will premiere on Friday afternoons.
“We’re actually lifting the veil on popular magic tricks, to teach our audience how to perform them just like famous magicians,” Revision3 CEO Jim Louderback said. “But all our tricks have a purpose: to help you score points—and free drinks—at the bar.” The show is targeted toward viewers in the 21-30 demographic.
Mr. Brushwood has published books about his tricks and scams. He also has appeared on NBC’s “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” and CNN’s “Life Beyond Limits.”
