blip.tv and Revision3 Partner to Promote Web Shows

Nov 15, 2007  •  Post A Comment

Online video site blip.tv formed a partnership with online network Revision3 to cross-promote each other’s shows. The deal could potentially help both online services’ viewership grow during the writers strike as consumers turn to Web outlets for content.
Under the deal, both Revision3’s show “Web Drifter” and blip.tv’s show “Geek Entertainment TV” will run post-roll ads promoting the other show. Also running cross-promotions will be blip.TV’s “Make” and Revision3’s “Systm.”
Blip.tv focuses on original and serialized shows for the Web and shares ad revenue with creators. Revision3 produces online shows, most of which are tech-centric.
