YouTube TV on Wednesday went down during the World Cup semifinals match between Croatia and England, interrupting viewers while they were watching the soccer game.
The live TV streaming service appears to have suffered the outages at around 12 p.m. PT, per a tweet from the YouTube TV Twitter account, and was back up again just before 1 p.m.
Hey everyone — sincere apologies for streaming issues with YouTube TV. The timing is horrible but we’re working to be up and running again ASAP!

We are so sorry about the service interruption and we understand your frustration. If you continue to experience issues let @TeamYouTube know.

The one-year-old YouTube TV also went down in May during the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
The Google-owned service has made soccer programming a priority for viewers since it launched in April 2017. In January, YouTube TV struck a deal with the new Los Angeles FC that included exclusive streaming rights to locally televised games and a jersey sponsorship. Then, in February, it nabbed exclusive streaming rights for local Seattle Sounders matches. YouTube TV also offers live sports through its distribution of Fox Sports 1 and ESPN.
