Google has added a family plan for its Play Music subscription service, allowing up to six family members to stream music at the same time. Like with similar service tiers offered by Spotify and Apple Music, Google’s Play Music family plan also helps to separate favorites and music recommendations to keep Kids Bop out of a parent’s personal stream.

The new family plan is launching in the coming days for users in the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, France and Germany, the company said in an announcement Wednesday. In the States, Google is charging $14.99 per month for its family plan, compared to $9.99 for a single-profile plan.

There’s one interesting twist to Google’s plan that sets it apart from its competitors. Google Play Music is joined at the hip with YouTube Red, the company’s recently-launched ad free video subscription service, and this partnership also extends to family plans: Users who sign up for a Google Play Music family plan also can let their family members watch ad-free videos on YouTube, without having to share a single YouTube account.
