Amazon‘s Twitch live videogame-casting service is now available for free on Roku platforms.

Starting Thursday, Twitch is available on Roku media players in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Ireland, as well as on Roku TV models in the U.S. and Canada.

On Roku’s Twitch channel, users can watch the most popular daily broadcasts and browse live broadcasts of their favorite games, as well as access streams of any of Twitch’s 1.5 million individual broadcasters. At any given time, according to Twitch, visitors can find hundreds of live broadcasts from popular games including “Minecraft,” “League of Legends,” “Counter Strike” and “Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.”

“Gamers are voracious consumers of content, with extremely tech-savvy media consumption habits,” said Brooke Van Dusen, Twitch’s director of bizdev. “It’s now more important than ever for Twitch to be available everywhere gamers are, and increasingly, that’s on set-top boxes like Roku players and smart TVs such as Roku TV.”

Amazon bought Twitch last year in a deal worth approximately $970 million. That came after Google’s YouTube reached a preliminary pact to acquire Twitch earlier last summer for about $1 billion, which fell by the wayside.

Twitch claims to have more than 100 million monthly members, who watch live videogame webcasts and chat with more than 1.5 million individual broadcasters.
