Online television technology providers Permission TV and Move Networks have paired up in a deal that calls for the two companies to have the option to integrate their online video tools and sell jointly to customers.
Under the agreement, Permission TV will combine its video platform with Move’s streaming video solution. Move Networks customers include ABC, ESPN, Fox and The CW. Permission TV customers include Fox and the Metropolitan Opera.
While the move underscores the need for technology companies to join forces in the contracting economy, both companies will continue to sell their products and services separately as well.
