BBC Picks Tremor Video's Seller Platform

Ad-tech provider Tremor Video on Monday announced that BBC Advertising has agreed to use its Seller Platform to support ad sales in multiple currencies. The move comes as Tremor Video released a new tool within its Seller Platform to enable all deal types to be transacted in any currency, including U.S. dollars, Australian dollars, euros, Canadian dollars, Singapore dollars, Japanese yen, New Zealand dollars, and British pounds.

The new capability enables publishers to choose the currency across deal types, and complete deals that take place in different currencies. For example, a fixed-rate deal in British pounds can compete with a fixed deal in Euros, and an open auction in U.S. dollars. This feature allows publishers to maximize their yield across global demand however marketers want to buy.

Through the use of Tremor’s platform, BBC Advertising hopes to gain a better understanding of how to more effectively sell video advertising globally.

“We look forward to helping more clients like BBC Advertising power their global, video advertising sales,” stated Craig Berlingo, VP of product, seller platform, Tremor Video.
