A+E Networks is launching a new multiplatform video division that will serve as a hub for digital and branded content.
45th & Dean will focus on creating and distributing content that will serve as audience development for A+E and brand partners. It will make daily content for a variety of platforms out of a new studio in Brooklyn.
A+E has appointed FYI Network general manager Paul Greenberg to oversee the new 45th & Dean as executive vp. Greenberg, who previously served as CEO of Nylon, was tapped to oversee FYI in January of this year. He will continue with his FYI duties in addition to running 45th & Dean and will report to A+E Networks digital media president Sean Cohan.
“A+E Networks is known for telling great stories via video across linear and non-linear platforms,” said Cohan. “45th & Dean is an exciting new chapter for the development, distribution and sharing of new kinds of content to expand our reach, maximize audience engagement and drive value for our partners.”
Also joining the 45th & Dean team are Shannon King, who comes from Levo League and will serve as senior vp content partnerships and social media, and Todd Pellegrino, who was previously a partner at New Wave Entertainment and will oversee short-form video production as senior vp video content.
