YouTube has selected the next film for its Red subscription service.
As part of a multi-project deal with AwesomenessTV, the Google-owned streamer has started production on We Love You, starring YouTuber Yousef Erakat (aka fouseyTube), Viner Lele Pons and Dear White People actor Justin Dobies.
Huck Botko (The Virginity Hit) is directing the romantic comedy, which also stars digital talent Ray William Johnson and Lauren Elizabeth Luthringshausen, as well as Joe Hursley (Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything) and Londale Theus, Jr. (Is It Me?).
Dobies and Erakat star in We Love You as best friends who fall for the same girl (Pons). When they have the idea that she might be cool enough to date them both, they embark on an experiment that challenges everything they know about dating.
