These Are The Video Series And Podcasts Coming To Spotify

Following
This article is more than 8 years old.

Back in May, Spotify held a press conference to announce that it was moving beyond music for the first time and that both video content and podcasts would eventually find their way to the platform. Now, over six months later, it looks like it’s all starting to happen, and the company has made clear exactly what listeners (and viewers) will be able to enjoy.

When the news was first revealed all those months ago, Spotify shared some of the brands that would be contributing content—Vogue, GQ, and the like—but exactly what shows or series would end up on the streaming music site wasn’t totally clear. Now that these updates are set to actually happen any day now, the full list of initial programs is available, and it is impressive.

Fans of shows like How Stuff Works, the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, The Nerdist Podcast, and even Ellen will be able to switch between their favorite tunes and these programs without exiting Spotify, which is exactly what the Swedish streaming service is hoping for.
