Facebook is doubling down on mobile video: The social network is set to announce a number of new tests for a more immersive video experience on mobile Tuesday, Variety has learned.

These tests include a new video section within its mobile app that will allow users to browse videos shared by friends, pages and publishers they follow as well as recommended content. Users will also get the ability to save videos for later viewing, and rediscover all their saved videos within the app’s video section.

The app is also getting a new pop-out video player that takes over the entire page, making it easier to watch the video without any distractions. And finally, Facebook is introducing a kind of picture-in-picture mode that allows users to watch a smaller, stamp-sized version of a video on top of their newsfeed, making it possible to continue to browse through content while the video keeps playing.

Here’s a leaked video of the tests:

Facebook has been testing some video-related features, including picture-in-picture, for some time. Facebook said in a blog post that it will be testing these new features “with a small number of people now, so this isn’t something most people will see on Facebook right away.”

Facebook is now generating four billion video views a day, and has started top monetize some of those views in partnership with publishers. The company also recently announced new content recognition technology to filter out unlicensed uploads.
