Calling American Pharoah fans: you have something to watch on your lunch break. The @NBCSN Twitter handle will stream the Belmont Draw on Periscope at noon today.
The draw determines the post positions on race day, coverage of which begins live from Belmont Park in Elmont, NY at 3:30 p.m. Friday until late Saturday afternoon.
While it’s best to save the actual big event for your cable viewers, this is another good use of Periscope from NBC Sports, which used Periscope during the Kentucky Derby to show off the festivities and the red carpet of Derby hats. That’s the best part anyway, right?
